I see the justice system giving us a pivot to the world of mutuality, that we have to find our way to or there won't be any civilization to restore people to. What they do in Norway is such a graphic lesson that I keep working with it.
How could I not know about you, and then only find out accidentally? This wasn't my first rodeo on Substack with this issue, yet we never crossed paths. I wish this were a better platform for engagement. Especially now that we have no leadership from the government, it's valuable to link up with each other. More to say after I look at your material.
PS: An ask, that got no response, that I put in Substack: "To get Recruiting Michael Moore delivered to him." If you are connected to him, please pass it along.
My Substack post tomorrow identifies the mechanism for evolution as relationship, from the first time elementary particles hooked up to now, and in that vein why aren't you connected to Michael Moore — and to me? Let's pool our smarts for progress to be made. Please comment on what I wrote, letting my 3,000 subscribers know about what you are doing, to help build the case for a more enlightened system.
Bjørn Ihler made me cry from his documentation of such a nightmarish reality. But, I missed conversation about the system, where someone who mass murders can't get more than a 21-year prison sentence. A case that's so extreme makes it something to talk about to learn from.
What a treasure trove this is, that's to be explored. I've just landed here thanks to a forward by Lawrence Kershen, moderator extraordinaire.
Here's my recent Substack about our criminal justice system:

Dear Sue, thank you for your comment. We're delighted that you've found us. We hope that our work which is based on restorative narratives will support you. I'm afraid we're not connected to Michael Moore, but we do think that Norway is a good example when considering the restorative potential of specific criminal justice systems. In case you don't know him yet, you can read and listen to Bjørn Ihler's (writer, filmmaker and peace activist from Norway) story here https://www.theforgivenessproject.com/stories-library/bjorn-magnus-jacobsen-ihler/ and here https://www.theforgivenessproject.com/bjorn-ihler-on-why-its-important-not-to-dehumanize-terrorists/.
